These terms apply to your use of the ZiruYai website and to enquiries you make through it. Please read them carefully. By using this site you agree to these terms.
About ZiruYai
ZiruYai offers ancestral yagé (ayahuasca) retreats held by indigenous taitas in the Putumayo, Colombia, together with allied traditional practices. This website provides information and a way to begin a conversation with us. It is not itself a booking or a contract for a retreat; any retreat is arranged separately and subject to its own booking terms.
Not medical advice
Nothing on this website is medical, psychological or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. The readiness self-check is a private prompt for reflection, not a diagnosis or a clearance to participate. Traditional plant medicine is not suitable for everyone, and certain medications and health conditions require particular care. Decisions about your health are yours to make with appropriate professional guidance.
Your responsibility to share health information
If you move toward joining a retreat, you agree to answer our health questions honestly and completely, including current medications, medical and mental-health history, and pregnancy. This is a safety matter: some combinations can be dangerous. Withholding or misrepresenting this information may put you and others at risk and may mean we cannot safely include you. We keep what you share confidential and use it only to care for you.
Eligibility
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over.
Enquiries, bookings and payment
Consultations booked through this site are an opportunity to ask questions and explore fit; they do not guarantee a place on a retreat. Retreat places, prices, deposits, payment schedules and cancellation or refund terms are set out separately at the time of booking [insert your booking, deposit, cancellation and refund terms]. Please read those terms before you pay.
Safety and participation
The wellbeing of every guest and the integrity of the ceremony come first. Following an honest conversation about your health and circumstances, we may recommend more preparation or support before you sit, or, for safety reasons such as certain medications, medical conditions, or pregnancy, advise that now is not the right time. Any such guidance is made with care and your safety in mind.
Legal notice
Yagé is a traditional medicine used lawfully within its indigenous context in Colombia, where our retreats take place. Laws concerning these plants differ from country to country. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply to you, including in your home country. Nothing on this site is an offer or encouragement to obtain or use any substance where it is unlawful to do so.

The text, images and design on this site belong to ZiruYai or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written consent.
Third-party links
Our site links to other sites (for example, our integration partner, social media and scheduling tools). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ZiruYai is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its information. This does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
